Why I Created The Calm Classroom Success Kit
After teaching middle and high school English for twenty-five years, I learned that the strongest classrooms aren't built on perfect lesson plans—they're built on meaningful relationships.
Every August, in between the inservice ice-breakers, I found myself searching for activities that would truly help me get to know my students. I didn't want busywork or time-fillers. I wanted intentional activities that sparked conversations, built trust, and gave me meaningful insights into the students sitting in front of me.
